Today we are remembering the events of September 11, 2001. We are grieving for the victims and crying with their families. We at Axel’s want to thank our military, our police officers and our fire fighters. Thank you for being our heroes!

Since we started serving it on Friday, the reviews have been over the top with excitement. Looks like we might have a keeper with this recipe.

For the second time this season Axel’s gave away 18 pairs of race tickets to New Hampshire Motor Speedway!
One recipient of the free tickets, Louise and her husband Dennis were chosen from many entries to participate in the Tums chowdah challenge. They competed against 4 other contestants and were voted the second best chowdah by judges Michael Waltrip, Jimmy Spencer and three professional chefs! Congratulations to Louise and Dennis!
