Former Indy 500 winner Sam Hornish Jr and his crew chief Chad Walter will be at Axel’s today at 3 pm. Sam is currently the driver of the no. 12 NASCAR Nationwide car and is currently 4th in points. Stop by and give Sam and Chad a big NH welcome.

Axel’s Food and Ice Cream will be open for the season on Saturday March 24 at 11:00 am. We will be offering some new and exciting additions to our already extensive menu. Today we are remembering the events of September 11, 2001. We are grieving for the victims and crying with their families. We at Axel’s want to thank our military, our police officers and our fire fighters. Thank you for being our heroes!

Elvis was a big fan of peanut butter and banana. So in his honor we are now serving peanut butter and/or banana soft serve. Don’t be cruel, bring the family to Axel’s for this unforgettable treat. Since we started serving it on Friday, the reviews have been over the top with excitement. Looks like we might have a keeper with this recipe.
